Slemmer Ádám annyira hitelesen hozza a karibi kalóz világhírű karakterét, hogy még a hollywoodi szupersztár is elismerően csettintett, amikor személyesen is találkoztak. Depp figurájával májusig fotózkodhatnak a látogatók a Dorottya utcában.
Újabb hírességgel bővült a Madame Tussauds Budapest kínálata: Johnny Depp figurája a prágai testvérprodukcióból érkezett és három hónapon át lesz kiállítva idehaza. A Madame Tussauds Budapest folyamatosan kérdezi a vendégeit, hogy kit látnának szívesen – Depp pedig mindig is a kívánságlista élén szerepelt.
Johnny Depp maga is részt vett a figurája megalkotásában, hiszen a 2006-os ún. “sittingen” a Madame Tussauds szakemberei minden porcikáját felmérték a magasságától a szemek távolságán át egészen a bőre tónusáig. Ezen információk alapján készült el a Budapesten is látható élethű figura, amely a legsikeresebb korszakában mutatja be Deppet.
Johnny Depp figuráját Slemmer Ádám adta át. A filmes szakember évekkel ezelőtt vette fel először Jack Sparrow jelmezét, rögtön hatalmas sikert aratva. Mára tökéletesre fejlesztette az öntörvényű karaktert a kosztümtől a beszédstíluson át egészen a mozgásig. Amikor rendezőként Depp Budapesten forgatta a Modi című filmet, akkor Ádám találkozhatott kedvencével.
„Saját rajongói filmünk eseményéről tartottam haza jelmezben. Egy autó lassított mellettem, majd egy idős hölgy szállt ki. Fotót készített velem és közölte, hogy az ő jelmezét viselem. Akkor döbbentem rá, hogy Penny Rose-zal, A Karib-tenger kalózai jelmeztervezőjével állok szemben. Penny meglepetésvendégként meghívott az utolsó forgatási napra. Amikor Depp meglátott, azonnal átszellemült, és percekig játszottuk egymásnak Sparrow szerepét. Hatalmas élmény volt” – mondta el Slemmer Ádám.
A Golden Globe-díjas Johnny egyike a legkarakteresebb színészeknek. Ádám Slemmer portrays the world-famous character from Pirates of the Caribbean so authentically that even the Hollywood superstar himself clicked his tongue in appreciation when they met in person. Visitors can take photos with Depp’s figure on Dorottya Street until May.
The Madame Tussauds Budapest exhibition has expanded with another celebrity: Johnny Depp’s figure has arrived from Madame Tussauds Prague and will be on display in the downtown attraction for three months. Madame Tussauds Budapest continuously asks its guests which celebrities they would like to see — and Depp has always topped the wish list.
Johnny Depp himself took part in the creation of his figure. During a so-called “sitting” in 2006, Madame Tussauds experts measured every detail of him, from his height and the distance between his eyes to the tone of his skin. Based on this information, the lifelike figure now on display in Budapest was created, depicting Depp at the height of his most successful era.
Johnny Depp’s figure was unveiled by Ádám Slemmer. The film professional first put on the Jack Sparrow costume years ago, immediately achieving great success. By now, he has perfected the free-spirited character — from the costume and speech style to the movements. When Depp was in Budapest directing the film Modi, Ádám had the opportunity to meet his favorite star.
“I was on my way home from our fan film event, still in costume. A car slowed down beside me, and an elderly lady stepped out. She took a photo with me and told me I was wearing her costume. That’s when I realized I was standing face to face with Penny Rose, the costume designer of Pirates of the Caribbean. Penny invited me as a surprise guest to the final day of filming. When Johnny Depp saw me, he immediately transformed, and for minutes we played the role of Sparrow for each other. It was an incredible experience,” said Ádám Slemmer.
